Rocky springs

What do you fellas think about resetting rocky springs to a eye to eye distance the same as an f20 an then putting them on. I guess the springs are way too stiff so removing a leave would be nessesary. Also, the springs are wider so I'll havo to make new springhangers and shackles. I should get some height out of it an can make the shackles the same lenght as stock so getting driveline angles stock again. How do the rocky springs take resetting? Will they sag in a flash after it's been done?
Ideas on this, from experience or common sense, are very well appreciated

Brand new springs will last a lot longer than reset springs, it comes down to how much you want to spend. I'd spend the extra dough and do it properly the first time rather than having to take the reset springs back out in 12 months and installing new ones then.

Yeah, I also prefer brand new ones. But it seems no aftermarketsprings with lift are available. other option is let a springshop make a custom set. just have to find a good one. Reason I wanna get rid of the extended shackles is drive line vibes and the quirky steering. Thankls for advise

get your tape measure out and see if springs off another vehicle will fit
how long eye to eye and how wide is a rocky spring
Spring rates can be tailored by adding/ removing
Maybe a lux front spring or something would fit... they're 45" long and 70mm or so wide

TA for advise, found out about springshop yesterday not rhat far away. So custom it will be
and it seems it isn't that expensive over there, suits a tight arse like myself
