does anyone know the part numbers for the temp sender on a WT sierra of the temp range of them as bursons only have a listing for the larger thread ones and not the smaller threaded ones that screw in below the t/stat

Had that problem, just get a genuine one from your local
zook dealer.

OE P/No. is 34850-50A00. However, if you want the non OE equivalent get Bursons to check if they deal with Motospecs (a wholesale supplier of parts inc. Champion, Fuel Miser, Kelpro, Maxi Trac etc). Motospecs have a catalogue just on switches and list the one you need. It would probably work out to be about $25-30.00 cheaper than the Suzuki equivalent.

Hope it helps.

ok i went to bursons today and checked out their VDO catalog. The suzuki sender is no longer available but it has a temp range of 40-120 deg's a temp sender from a volkswagon PASSAT has the same ratings and is the same size and thread. Will cost about $20.

ive now decided to get a set of guages (temp/oil/volts). cost me $45

ok we have problems. i got a set of guages and they dont fit anywhere. also the oil pressure ans tenp conections that screw into the engine dont have the correct fittings and dont fit. the only guage that can be hooked up is the volt/amp guage.

so i went and got the PASSAT sender and it dont fit either. next trip is to the wreckers to get a secondhand one.

Pirtech (spelt?) hoses and other Hydraulic suppliers can usually sell you the fittings you need.
Thats where I got mine (Bayswater Canterbury Rd between Dorset & Scorseby) to suit my Moke.
NB. I have had more serious breakdowns caused by guages than they have ever solved, so get good ones.
