I have a mate who owns Playtime 4x4 in Vic and he is the only dealer of superior engineering products and if there are enough people interested in ordering superior shackles we can get a bulk order and save some $$$

Will be setting up a set of these on the rear of my 40 and testing them over the next few months for the show.
They will work well with most standard spring packs but on some leaf packs there may be a little resistance to flex due to binding at the opposite eye (fixed end of the leaf).
After initial testing, I will be addidng modified main leafs with Johnny joints at the fixed ends to maximise articulation.
SO yes they will work well with stock leaves but better with customs...and don't forget...they can only drop as far as your shocks will allow!

Not sure what your point is 'more power'.
I run springover with 9012's...big deal. A general question was asked about the shackles including a reference to having to purchase 'there springs and custom packs'.
Firstly 'there' should be spelt 'their' if you want to laugh at people and which do you run? ...coils or leaves or both as in 'springs and packs'. Because unless they're coils then they're the same thing LOL.
My response was a general one offering answers for both standard and modified.
if you want to flame people for offering to help you then think before you write...explain what your full setup is and how knowledgable you are...then you can't be offended by us guessing what your intellect is?

Simon i dont think he was having a go at anyone. He is allready asking Questions about these in another area. And wants to run them on his set up. I think he was asking wether he needs to change his shocks when running these.

Yeah it was just a small thing...talk about the build up for TT, how you went at BOTC, WERock and PUOSU and then highlights from TT with a close look at the Rocky Horror climb.

Apologies more power...so use to the smart arse element...
The setup on my 40 ramps like crazy but my rear lets me down because of limited weight. Hence the drop shackles will offer a heap of droop for the rear.
Please feel free to PM or call me anytime as I have set up quite a few 40s and there is heaps you can do to make them work, especially if you are already halfway there with thew SPOA.
Infact, if you are interested...we have a set here that need to be tested NOW! I have sent you a PM.
