does anyone know the bolt pattern and bolt size of the mounts on the block?
i have a clapped out mount but it's easier to make a replacement without taking the old one off first

get the scissor jack out from your camira, put it between the panhard mount and the lip on the sump, pull the mount out, cut all the shit off the plate, and weld the new tube to it.

just from a cursory glance the other day, it looked like the mount was a folded piece, not flat plate. but i'll do as you suggest with the skizza jack and confirm. i'll have to cut the "safety wire" too.

look ok to you guys?
it's offset to one side for better weld joint fitment and will centre better on the chassis mount.

Just from fucking around with those bushes at work I found that it takes absolutely minimal heat to de laminate the rubber from the steel casing and fuck em real quick.
Just wondering how you went welding to them.
make sure you give em a good flex around with a screwdriver up the guts to make sure you wont have probs later.
other than that it looks shmick.
Cheers

the edges did ripple a bit near the weld but it should be ok. i test flexed it with a long bar and it doesn't look like it would rip out. the other 90% of the rubber should hold it fine. if it does rip out, it'll still be captive. then i'll press it out and press in a new one.
movement

how will it go for forward movement of the engine? obviously the bush is not designed for movement in that direction.

NAM, if it is just a panhard bush. Go to nissan and get a new one. They are only $13.
