Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I played around a little today with parallel arm for the 4runner and am wondering what you all think. This is to get away from those pesky upper control arms that are such a pain for lifted runners. Note: I cannot do a convensional 3 link like Surfection and have come up with this idea instead.

that is a hard call to make without seeing the whole thing in context. If you are going to use those arms (they look like patrol or 80 series upper arms??) you want them to be mounted inboard as far as you can get them. they will be swinging the axle on a much tighter radius than the lowers & the closer to the centre of the axle (laterally) you can mount them, the less that radius difference will show up in pinion dive/rise under articulation. whats the deal with the mount on the axle end?? also, do some research into Instant centre maths before you weld anything on there..

They are patrol upper arms and are @ twice the lenght of standard 4runner arms. the reason behind the reconing is that they should move in the same plane as the lowers while allowing more rotation than the 4runner bushes used for the bottom so hopefully they won't bind up that much and still allow the suspension to work.
I got one side done today and copied the same plates for the other only to find that the lower control arm mount is about 6mm inboard of where the other is.
