Outer Limits 4x4 Board

HI,i have a problem with my auto trans ..torque converter making wierd noise under light loadings ie coasting along at about 60 to 70 kmph and it also appears to have a vibration around 80kph .Any ideas welcome at this stage. if i run the trans in pwr mode thus artificially holding gears at higher speed problem is less noticiable,also vibration goes when held in 2nd at 80 kph. thanks for any ideas.Vehicle is 1996 petrol 120 kms covered gxl.

He is a good bloke, and will tell you if it is a tranny related problem. He cant help enough and i would get him to send you an exchange unit over if you need a new one.....
sounds bad...check your engine mounts and what does the tranny oil look and smell like (should be red and not smell burnt)
