Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Evening all, Just doing some searching for info on replacing autotrans mount on 88 nf. Not able to find specifics. I could go out to the shed for the manual but it is too cold, I am also too lazy. So, how do you know if your mount needs replacing? Just increased play in mount? Thumping from under car? Also, how involved is the job? Thanks for response. Hopefully you lot aren't as lazy as me.

Okay, I may have been lazy and answered my own question partially but I have now been under the truck to inspect the mount and it all seems ok. I thought my oil leak may have affected the rubber of the mount but it looks nice and dry, no cracks either. Is there any reason that I should have considerable movement when I pry up on the trans. when the mount seems ok. When driving, there is a intermittent clunk in the trans tunnel. Any ideas anybody?
