Snow chains resizing

Post by Red_MAv »

I have a set of Konig snow chains that fit 235/85R16 (32") if I go to a 255/85R16 (33") will it be possible to get these altered in some way so that they fit the new tyres. I have never needed to fit these (other than in the garage to see that I can) but dont want to carry them up to the Alpine areas and find they wont go on when they are needed. Has anyone added extra links to snow chains or know at least whether it can be done?
