Ok i have finally got my ct12 turbo and am sussing out a way to put it on the g13b. Im just gonna rebuild the little motor as it has already proven its toughness being overheated several times and running with low oil for hours on end.
Gonna see how much an exchange engine or do it myself, i have to figure out my options. Anyone know where to get a decompression plate from? Also can i get the injection from a gti head and bolt it to my single cam block? If i cant do that then ill get a single point setup for it.
I got my mate looking out for computers for me, he recently picked up a microtech ltx12 (i think thats what its called) for $500. The turbo is gonna be top mounted and have a screamer pipe so i cant wait to have it going.
Cost so far
motor with spare bits=$20
Turbo =$150
