4-Low

Post by Crawford »

EVERY time i use 4lo the transfer box gets jam and i have to undo it all.. sometimes it gets jammed when i move it down to neutral other times it gets jammed when it gets down to 4H...

at the moment it doesnt have a shift bush for the transfer stick as no where seems to have them :| Apparently this happens because i spin the tyres when im in 4L o rsomething.. or there is to much pressure in the transfer case...

someone tell me how to fix this.. or at least get it unlocked without taking the whole transfer case apart each time..

cheers fellas
you guys are a great help with everything :)

when you say it is locked, you can't move it at all.

I had the same thing happen but mine was stuck in neutral.

drop the transffer leaver out, and look at the bottom where stick came out, you will 2 pins, make sure they have a notch in em and are even . then put stick back in . you will find the bush on bottom of tranfer stick has worn out. just replace it $25 from dealer.

worked for mine

Most Suzuki car dealerships can supply and also places like Suzisports or give Suziworks a call..
If it's already been thought of...

ya need that shifter sheet.....

if ya replace that and it's still screwy, have a look at this thread, i had drama's with my t-case but was more along the lines of jumping out of 4H into 2H, but the lever was getting jammed in 4H...
