My viscose transfer case has frozen and destroyed a CV, I am quite urgently wondering if I can remove the CV;s and drive as a 2 wheel drive until I find a transfer solution. (convert to LT or get a dodgy second hand viscose)

This is my primary car and needed.

If anyone knows the answer to this I can get the car in to the mechanic today. for minimal interuption to my hectic schedule.

What Likely damage could I do if I drive it 2wd (I think I've been doing it since I bought the old girl)

take the front prop off and you'll be fine.

did the CV explode??

if a busted Cv is left in and turns it could lock the steering wheel if it binds up again.

best to take the CV's out.

if not blown then prop shaft is fine to take out

you will be right to drive in rear wheel drive for awhile
