oil in GQ TD42?

Just wondering what oil you use in your GQ.

I just had a full service done and they put Penzoil in there...........not sure if I should continue using this or change to something else?

I used to use Mobil synth in the Landrover and I liked the way it ran on that stuff.

yeah depends what kind of penzoil they put in but like the add said oils aint oils and the best oil for a diesel is a diesel specific oil that have the correct chemical mixtures with detergents and anti foaming addatives. nothing too thin either!

Shell Rimula X.. oil and filters every 5000klms.

Look at the photos of Woops donk with 560,000klms on it, you can still see the cross hatching in the bores from NEW :shock: :shock:
thats good enough for me.

Castrol JMax, spefically for Jap diesel engines.

Run in last four farm TD42s, with oil/filters every 5000, oldest now well over 400k, no reason to doubt it yet.
