Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I'd appreciate any info to save me looking for the issue. I have noticed that the 4wd indicator lights on the dash for the front dif/wheels has started to flash intermitently even though it is in 2wd. It normally flash for a very short duration when disengaging 4wd but now it does it on its own?

Any help appreciated on what I should be looking for
