Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I have done a search and cant find anything (but im its there somewhere) how does every body mount winches on first generation hiluxs? They dont have the pair of bolts on the front that hold the bumper on on a 2nd or 3rd gen. basically it looks like all i can use is where the bolts go through for the recovery hooks on the bottom of the chassis, and another (captive nut) about 100mm back from that. how do you get any support a little higher up? mine has a power steer conversion, using the j arm. any ideas/pictures would be great.
