but yeh camping and reading about your adventures guys has made me very interested in the 4wd scene, and im heading down the pajero track i think, i know mitsubishi pretty well but not really their 4wd area, so can u guys help me???? iv been looking at pajeros, i was oh so close to buyign a 96 triton dual cab 4wd but yeh didnt, and now im onto the pajeros, so of late iv been looking at NH and NJ pajeros, LWB models, and just really have no idea about them? im in the under $10,000 category and have been looking at a few pajeros lately, mostly aorund the 6,500 - 7990 range, most of which consist of GLX/GLS models, im after a manual, fuel doesnt matter, even a SWB model will be a treat, just really eager to get into the 4WD scene so any help guys would be muchly appreciated, what to look out for? what models are best? anybody have one for sale? anybody know where i can look? i have been looking around local car dealers, papers, been to the Auto Group Car Auctions in Sydney and Gosford lately, seen a few pajeros around, so yeh any help would be great,

thanks guys, ;)

Ireckon you would get a pretty straight swb for that coin. Take a look at redrockets paj that is for sale. Its neat and straight, built without cutting corners.

If i find the link I will post it up.

ok sweet as thanks grantw,
hahaha and who says it doesnt already have turbs, may be a gsr, or even have a 4393/4g63 conversion, may well be a little sleeper, ahahaha or it may well be a 1.5L carby with a few mods, ahhaha which it is, its alright first car, looks nice and goes alright, really keen on this 4wd scene though, getting older ahahha 20, and out of the fully sick scene, not my thing, i love the cars but not really the people associated, im just a normal guy with a thing for cars, and 4wds seem to do it for me at the moment,

ahhaha rightio grantw, just read that u got a evo8, nice, very nice, shoulda waited for e9, turbod mivec, mmm, are u selling it though??? very jealous

Grant's right, redrocket's shorty would be a great buy. Unfortunately his ad has fallen off the end of the (7 day) queue.

Try sending him a PM, to see if he's still got it?

Cheers,

Scott

im in much the same boat as above,

lookin for a LWB for under 10grand. Anything to particularly look out for?

ive seen a 1992 2.6 Paj with 131K kms, and they want $6950 for it - somethign dodgy about it?
