Looks like Bathurst 76

Post by schuler »

Hi guys i am just after some info. I have an 86 schuler with 308 torqueflight 727 and LT230. I drowned it in a bog hole a while ago, after towing it home and letting it dry out for 2 weeks (BIG bog hole) it finally restarted. next drive out, when i looked out the rear window all i saw was white smoke like the L34's at bathurst in the 70's.

No rattling from the engine no weird noises just smoke and a lot of it. Some one has mentioned it could be the vacuum modulator for the auto. I had a quick look on the weekend and i could't see any vacuum lines to the auto... Does the 727 have a vacuum modulator?

as far as i know it doesnt, i know what you mean though, a mate of mines xc flacon was smoking like that so we re-ringed the motor only to find out it the the modulator was pouring fluid into the intake!
