RANGIE CHEV BOLT PATTERN, IS THE 35O THE SAME AS A GEN 3

Hi, just wondering if there are any chev gurus about. i am curious if the chev 350 has the same bell housing as the new gen 3, has anyone done this conversion? any tricks? any idea's or tips? general info, what would you do for quick hp but reliabe with out spending a fortune building a rover stroker, cheers

Just put a LS1 in a Patrol. The patern looks the same but they have gone back to the centre top bolt and lost the next one down on the drivers side.
Different engine mount bolt pattern on the block, exhaust manifolds bolt pattern etc.

hi, aparently there is one bolt on the drivers side in oz that has to be left out. its where the dipstick would go normally. cheers, how do you find the LS1 anyhow.

Pulls well.
Vehicle sits nose high now without the TD42T and the steering is noticably lighter, which can be a combination of weight loss and height.
Its still awaiting final tuning but the customer seems happy.
