After joking around yesterday about the 4x4ing we were going to do today our jokes werent all that funny, the joke was one of us would break a CV on the first rock. Must be a queensland thing, small rocks, no brains and lotsa mumbo and the CV went BANG, bound the steering up and we were all of 30 meters from the road. Nick assure me this type of thing happens to him all the time   but i think it is more his driving style   After showing him that slooooooooow and easy was the way to do things he was determined to show me that "lotsa mumbo and alittle loving" was what it was all about...............he never did get to the top of this :finger: :finger: :finger:

no pics of the area that dave is talking about, but i would say that it is about 7 foot, well the wheelbase of the 4runner and probably as steep as the bowl. dave did crawl it, he is about 90.1 but the rock here is different, it is dry, hard and grips really well, once your front wheels are on top of the obsticle you can pretty much crawl it, i couldnt at 35.1
