I'd investigate these alternatives before you even take a sniff at tunit.
http://jetex.co.uk/Jetexwebsite/tdikits ... native.htm (this *might* be the same as a tunit, ie the tunit *might* be one of these, repackaged, that is a completely baseless allegation however - no facts to back this up, only some rumours/hearsay)
http://www.safari4x4.com.au/dtronic/dtronic.htm <- the real deal - if I was powering up a TDi, this is where I'd spend the money.
