40 series to 60 series handbrake conversion/power steer

Well the troopy is now sprung over, rear arb locker, 5spd, 60 series diffs.
I've got to power steer pump off HJ60, suit 2H, and power steer box off BJ42 - any probs with using this setup? i'm guessing all i need to do is get some lines made up and bolt it all in, possibly change top radiator hose routing or get the inlet/outlets swapped to the other side.

And for handbrake, to go from driveshaft handbrake to rear drum - what has anyone else done cable-wise? either make a joiner or get a new one custom made?

What have you done?

When I converted my handbrake to the rear wheel I had the original handbrake off a 60 series and got it lengthened at cable and controls in Lidcomb 96491442. Think it cost about $60.
Have u engineered your sprung over? since I am in the process of doing mine. If so where did u get yours engineered?

When fitting a 2h power steering pump in a 40 you need to custom fab a support bracket for the back mounting on the pump ( 60's and 75's have different engine mounts bolted to the block that incorperates and extra lug to support the pump) and the bottom radiator port needs to be moved to the far RHS of the bottom radiator tank at an angle and the radiator moved over to the RHS by redrilling the 2 radiator mounting studs in the radiator frame. You can reuse the original radiator hoses this way.

For the pump and radiator mods have a look here. we didnt move the radiator over like 80ute suggested because the 60# box was in the way but it would help make the angles better, but then you would have to move the fan shroud the same distance back to the LHS
