Hey guys, I'm running a RD79 in the rear of my 94 vitara, everytime i turn the locker off it pumps a small amount of diff oil out through the solenoid, any ideas how i can stop this, arb installed it and they dont think its a problem :? guess they dont have to put up with the smell :P

MIne does the same thing.. they shouldnt really do it....

Its not that had to fix.. just have to pull the diff out to fix it..

Wont really hurt anything just a PITA....

Doesn't sound right to me...
Mine definitely doesn't do this, and to be honest I don't see how one working properly can do this. There should be no way for diff oil to get into that air line.
May not be a big issue, but definitely not they way it should be.
If it's already been thought of...
There has to be a better way...

It is a common problem... but I forget the cause and cure :oops: :)
Search in gen tech or toyota Im sure it has been covered before.
