my left indicator keeps blowing the 7.5A fuse. it flashes 4 times then on the 5th blows, however, while i was trying to fix this problem i ran out of 7.5A fuses and threw a 20A in, just to see if i had solved the problem. this fuse did not blow, i searched and found another 7.5 in the under bonet fuse panel and borrowed this to check if i was infact on the money. it blew on the 5th flash again. i am stumped as to whats going on. its a GU patrol cab chassis.............

at a guess, maybe your flasher relay is on its way out, or you have a short, it seems wierd that it blows on the 5th flash thou,

i was thinking flasher relay too, just needed some backup before i fork out for a new one.............cause i cant find a short anywhere. i might try and disconnect them after the comboswitch and see if it still blows.....thanks ozy1

no probs, if they are the old style flasher realy(clear plastic case, you could take one out of another car, unless they are the 5 pin black square realy type.
