Hi all
Just completed a 2 inch body lift on my Rangie over the weekend....
Has anyone modified an ARB rear bar to suit a 2 inch lift?
I have been trying to work out the best way to do it without comprimising its' strength. Any ideas and/or photos would be appreciated.
Cheers

I've nearly finished mine. It is tacked together with a stick welder and will
use a mig to finish it off.(this weekend)
It is alot easyer to do than first thoughted and looks like a bought one
and will be able to tow(didn't lose any strength).
Have heaps of pics but having trouble posting them.
PM me and I'll E-mail you them
Cheers

I have thought about a custom bar...and I think this would be heaps easier, but I have a rear wheel carrier which I would like to keep and I like the look of the ARB rearbar...

the front was made using pre formed channel 200x75 i think cut a wedge out to form the side risers and butt welded back together pipe is 63 mm? bends 45 degree from steel shop $5 each? holes cut with 100mm holesaw for spot lights and a weekend in the shed hard part is making the ends line up with the body by your self need five arms and six eyes but can be done
if you are going to make one all i can say is have fun
e-mail me or pm me if you want more info
