we've got a 60l trailblazer that I bought second hand a couple of years ago. They work great. Once they're cold, they don't seem to draw too much due to the 3 inches of insulation. The thermostat went just before christmas right before we were due to go away. They're such a simple unit, that I could bypass it until I got a new thermostat.
Only thing is they are so big, bulky and bloody heavy. If you don't plan to move it in and out of the truck too often, then they are a good unit, but If you plan to move it around alot, I'd think twice about it.

we use the trailblazers in the army as well as engels and waecos. These fridges all get thrown around A LOT (I have to fix them) without a doubt the trailblazers hold up the best. All I usually need to do is replace thermostat knobs or fix the latches and thats about it. The Waecos hold up quite well also but hinges aren't so good, they are still quite new so not many problems yet. The engels are always getting repaired and the cabinets on them are nearly all damaged quite badly. They keep running but always need work. (They are all pretty old however) For my money the Trailblazer is the go but as already said they are bloody big and heavy compared to the others.

I bought one with 125mm insulation. I looked into most available and concluded they were the best, especially if going to hot and humid places.
Very well designed and manufactured, but the extra insulation and construction adds size and weight.

Well the guy that has to repair em is probably the best person to take advice from
My brother's are the lower style (fits under a taurneau) and its really not that heavy, either that or the weaco's are pretty light :S

If you're going to use the fridge inside a wagon, then get an engel or waeco as they are smaller in size. Each have their pro's and con's but I personally think that they both perform pretty much the same. Main difference is plastic body versus metal body.
If you're planning to lash the fridge in the back of a ute or tray back get the Trailblazer. Larger size won't matter much on a ute and the thick insulation will be very useful. Stainless body won't rust and the carry handles are very strong.
I've used all three types with work and I like the trailblazer the best 'cause it's easier to keep clean.
