hi guys, im wanting to know if
a:can the front diff be turned over in the housing to make a high pinion(cheap)?
b:has anybody done this?
c:will a later(80'ish series with high pinion)high pinion diff head fit into my 40 series housing with the same axels?
d:cost of a high pinion diff head?
any info appreciated, especially if i can flip my diff, that would be cool

Answers
a: NO the wheels will drive in the opposite direction!
b: Wont work so why bother
c: No 80 series front hipinion wont fit as it is a hilux size diff and they aint to strong. The axle splines are the same thou 30 spline 1 5/16 diametre.
d: Not sure if a hipinion centre is made to bolt straight in, Nissan GQ hipinions can be made to fit (have done a lot times) You you fit a Cruiser rear diff from 1990 on (75 and 80 series) and these have a higher pinion shaft hight than the earlier diffs but is still not a Hipinion.
