Hey would a 87 zook have a mechanical fuel pump?

Is it possible to get a electric fuel pump for it?

Im sayin this cause i tend to loose a bit of power going up steep slopes,, i dont think any fuel is getting to the engine :(...or if so very little.. maybe i should try going out on a full tank?..

Let me know

cheers fellas

Generally carbies are the issue with performace on angle cause of da float. BUT your fuel pump MAY make a difference I don't know. I'm not too sure how the mechanical fuel pump works.

could also just be a gearing issue. Have you put bigger tyres on without regearing?. Also Sierras aren't the most powerful cars anyway and they do lose power on steep grades

you running a weber ? if so mount it backwards . yes you can put a electric pump on bypass the stock pump and put a fuel regulater in it's place.
