I got prices of $54 and $75 IIRC for the LHS mount. Finding somewhere that's got them in stock (or can get them) is the hard part!?
Ended up getting mine from Repco for $75 and it had to be freighted from interstate. The place that quoted $54 (Sprint Autos) said there were none available in Australia....
I didn't bother trying for genuine prices.

$75 for an engine mount.. that's farking rediculous..
I'm sure i bought engine mounts for my old celica years ago and they were like $25ea..
And about that for the VK.... Hmm well i don't have that much cash to spare, so i'll just have to put up with it for a while longer...

The problem with that is it may lead to breaking the gearbox mount or possibly the opposite side engine mount.
If money is tight atleast try a bit of seatbelt or something to strap the broken mount to stop the egnine from potentially bouncing around.

A few weeks ago, i had to replace my engine mounts and gearbox mount as well, due to a rough climb at Landcrusier Mountain Park, ripped itself off the left side engine and torn up the gearbox mount, Lucky the right side still hang on just like normal.
Cost me about 180 bucks for all mount from repco and fit in okay. Engine mount was about 75 bucks.
F***** ripped off by the gearbox mount for just over 100 bucks
Just need it at the time to drive safely or my motor's on the road!

My gearstick (or both of em
) move a fair way to the left, say, an inch and a half under very hard acceleration, is this normal? None of my other cars have done it since all east west fwds...

simple test...
get a mate to stand next to the car on the passenger side, and look at the engine mount.
Easiest way to to "stretch" it.... is to have the handbrake HARD on... and a foot on the brake... then sharply (which is why they stand to the side) accelerate and pull out clutch in 1st gear.... it's how I found out for sure that mine was busted... it pulls away fairly obviously and you can see air inbetween.
btw... i thought gearbox mount was same as all the others... repco lists 3 parts... left, right and gearbox.... all with same part number = same thing

According to Mackay's catalogue the rear mount is different.

The left and right engine mounts are the same, the gearbox mount is different.
