Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Got a aftermarket ammeter guage after my oem guage died, although I actually bought it about 5 years ago when it actually carked it . My question is the instructions have long gone and not sure how to wire it in on my BJ42. The back of the ammeter has a + and --

i got rid of my aftermarket one due to every time i drove at night with 6 130 watt globes at high beam it caused worry due to a small alt the forty's run
even when it wasn't the lights i would see it and there would be concern for worry even tho it had a new alt

now there is no gauge there's noworry
