Just sum of all expenses that one is easy to get rid of.

or could spend 20K to get custody of kids.

that would save me 400+ per week

If its not costing you anything, Id say try and hang onto it.
With as much time and effort into it as you have, its going to be a regret having to sell it for much less than you've put into it. Maybe just more fuel in the situation?
Bad situation to be in, but maybe better to not make any more changes than are absolutely necessary atm until you gain some perspective on the world again?
Take the kids out wheeling? A weekend away camping 'away from it all'. Can't do that without a rangie. I understand your kids are more important than the car, but surely they could co-exist?

My .02 for what its worth.

It'd be a sad day if the car had to go, after all the time & R&D you've put into it.

Yes but can always build again

Just think of all those v10 VW engines laying about in a few years.

Kids will still enjoy camping just not in the RRtoy.

Still havent decided but makes sense to do it at the moment.

Hi Michael,

Been there in your exact situation 7 years ago, I sold the truck and withdrew from the whole scene for a year or so, its been a tuff road back.

It made no bloody difference, except for the fact that I felt worse

The world will turn around so dont make any hasty decisions, its best to sit back and not change too much to quick, its a long and shitty road back to any sort of normality in your life, try to retain as much as possible for you and your kids sake.

I hope you get through it all ok, well as best as possible, life goes on dont let it slip by to much.

DON'T DO IT MICHAEL!!!!!

not the ranga for christ sake, sell anything but your truck.....

correct me if i am wrong, but isn't this the way you see it.

So children come first right (thats a given), then the house i guess (you have that right), next the tuff blue very tricked up weapon of distruction sitting in your driveway and some where later but not befor is the ex.....

if this is true then you have got to keep the car, hay it's an insperation to my disco as when it grows up it wants to be like your rover!

Mate I would have to agree with the other boys.

The one very most important thing, above all else, is YOU!

If you are not happy - and I assume that wheeling in your mighty fine rover makes you happy - then you are no good to anybody...especially your kids.

Don't let the sh*t in life dictate the way you spend the quality time you get with your kids, with your mates, and by yourself.

If anything...whack a really big Ramjet into the RR. Thant'll make you feel better

Best of luck, Michael - its a situation that far too many of us are in. Don't get me started on how F*cked over men get in courts. :bad-words:

Micka.
