Steering Dampener

Have just about sorted the steering on my Hilux, it's now been fitted with IFS box and ORI crossover arm.

I've taken the factory dampener off as it appears to be 3/4 shagged. Is it worth going for a return to centre unit?

I'll be running 36" Simex ET2's with twin lockers if that makes any difference.

got a rancho non RTC and it works sweet. apparently you dont need a RTC dampener if your steering is aligned correctly. if your have a RTC dampener, it can 'mask' any potential problems with your steering.
