did you bother to look first? I know some people have trouble with the search button, but sheesh, this is just 6 threads under yours! and its not like I am dumping on the noobie, you have been around for 10 months
anyway, have a read of the other thread, there is some good stuff in it, exactly what you are looking for, good luck with your project.
Peter.

Love the camo.
What size was the pvc into the airbox? i am guessing that is a 3" outlet up the top for the snorkel top.
cheers

i just took the rubber elbow from the standard set up to the hard were shop and measured it so it was snug then i used the same size all the way to the top with a 3inch conector for the hat bit.if that makes any sense

just wondering why your pvc snorkel and head run down the side of the car to the base of the windscreen?
Posted: Wed Jun 22, 2005 1:39 pm
by droopypete
I would think it's because he used the dorr hinge as a fixing point and as it is not attatched to the windscreen he can still put the screen down if he wants.

I would be concerned at the length of pipe you are running at the same diameter as the airbox inlet, the frictional losse's mount up quite rapidly.
No slagging here, just advice. If it has suffered a performance loss disconnect the airbox and road test again.

thor droopypete was right on the money it was just easier to mount to the door bracket and still be able to drop the window.

im only using the pvc for now to see were it all goes my brothers making one up in 3inch pipe from the hat to the airbox.then were modifying were it enters the air box so its the same size as the pipe.i havent notice a performance loss its still a bit gutless with the tyres either way.
