Where can I get a body lift kit that includes spacers, high tensile nuts, bolts , etc for a LWB NG Superwagon ?

Had a look under the rig yesterday - doesn't look too difficult to do - The fiddly bots seem to be brake lines, wiring and gearbox/transfer case.

Any help appreciated

Cheers,

where are you located?

i would think most 4wd shops would be able to supply them.

call Adrian at Intense Offroad in Adelaide (08) 8294 2325 - im sure he would be able to supply/send them to ya where ever you are.

from what ive heard/seen they arent too hard to do

G'day - I'm in Sydney. But if this guy can supply and ship - no worries.

Thanks for that - I'll call them next week.

B-man, i did my own lift inside 2hrs.
Any nut and bolt shop can provide the longer HT bolts (12 in all from memory). Went to an aluminium shop and had 2" solid alumin. pucks made up and predrilled for the bolts. All up these 2 parts cost $110. A new longer brake line for the rear, fiddle of the h.brake attachments and all is sweet. Remember to place large washers between the bolt head and the body as over time itflexes and cracks under the head. ;)

hi a newbie question really - connecting different metals together is source for dielectric corrosion, does one fit an insulating washer or is the chassis aluminium - just read another post on a different that used un-named alloy for a 2" lift - just wondering........

Thanks sascot - where did you get the machining done ?? And can you recall the length and width of the bolts needed ??

2 Hrs hey - I'm impressed - what level of mechanic/tradesman are you ? I'm pretty handy, wondering if I can do it my self ?

How did you lift the body ?

Did you do one side at a time ? One corner at a time ??

Thanks in advance.

There are no Pajero specific body lift kits available in Oz only out of Japan.
It's cheaper to buy the tube (whether you use Aluminium or Polyurethane) and have a machine shop make them up for you (or anyone with a lathe).
Here's a link to a Gen 2 body lift (2") install :-
