Body Vibrations
Hi All,
I am new to Feroza's and 4x4, could someone out there know or have a good guess at the answers to my problem vibrations, they can appear at 95k's but not always, they go from side to side, dealer put new tyres on it for me under warrenty, the vibrations are still there, had two wheel alignments by different shops, the steering wheel does not vibrate, two different mechanics said that there is not a problem that is obvious to them.
Is there anyone around Willowbank in Qld that can spare a few hours to swap wheels with me to see if they are the culprits.

Have you checked things like your :
Tailshaft balance - has one of the weights fallen off ? (Probably less noticable at low speed)
Body Mounts - are they all intact / tight ??
It seems like you've already gone down the 'wheel problem solving pathway', so they are the only other things I could think of that may be causing your problem.
Good Luck

The plot thickens, had the tyres rebalanced this morning and was informed that they where out of round, took the car to Goodyear who fitted the tyres and they re-balanced and rotated the bad tyres on the rims to get a better balance. Took it for a drive, no difference, dealer put back tyres on the front and vic versa, NO VIBRATION, seems as though there is not enough weight in the rear of the Feroza and the two back tyres are the ones out of round the worst. Dealer says to drive it for a couple of weeks and see how I go swapping them back. Took the rear qtr panel off and found the split one way valve also, should be nearly dry by now, ready for refit.

So John, what model Goodyear tyres should we avoid?! Pretty funny considering a lot of people swear by Goodyear Wrangler MTR's on this forum. Mudpig has got them on his Feroza too.
Good to here you've found the problem.
Was that you on WARFS again regarding the fuel smell? I posted a reply as mine was actually the black plastic reservoir thingo cracked and not the valve leaking. That is one very annoying problem to have, took me a couple of weeks to fix. Lucky I'm not a smoker!
