2" Body Lift

2" Body Lift
I'm gearing up to do this in a few weeks. Will run 15x7 rims with 31x10.5 MTRs, should be nice
Moose, you out there? Did you do a body lift on yours? Any tips for extending the xfer shifter? I'm fine with the gearbox shifter being lower, but I'm not sure how to extend the other one. A friend has done it, and didn't bother to extend the xfer shifter, he has to take the handle off when he wants to put it in 4wd
Have everything else pretty much sorted...going to use engineer grade lift blocks, space up the bumper, worked out how to lift the rear bumper (tricky thanks to those weird angle brackets) and drop the radiator (easy).
Should take me a weekend....moose..or anyone else...if ya have tips etc, feel free to let me know...

Update on my Body Lift progress..
I've got the tyres, 31x10.5 on 15x8 rims, Kelly DTRs (thanks Ferozius & Moose!). Giving them a clean this weekend
2" Blocks with 10mm holes have been ordered from Big Balls Offroad, should get them next week (thanks Liam!). Also getting 8 new 10mm bolts 130mm long with nuts n washers to suit. Will be reusing 2 of the middle bolts on the rear.
Andy, what did you do to lift your bumpers? I notice you still have the stock bumpers front n rear..
Body Lift is scheduled for the 28th, will be trekking north to Newcastle and working with a mate who has access to a full workshop for all my fabrication needs.

G-day Murray
Murray , Cos I'm a lazy so and so ......... I haven't lifted the front and rear bumpers I actually like the gap . The rear bumpers I'm not bothered about , as for the front my intentions are to get a bullbar and winch so that would fix that prob , might even go for the jeep style bar and half the price of an ARB winch bar .........

Took delivery of my lift blocks, bolts n stuff from Big Balls Offroad today. NICE!!!!
Liam told me he had the holes in the blocks made 1/2" after speaking with an engineer as the engineer said the bolts would break (10mm bolts) if they had 10mm holes. There's a bit of play in the holes now...hopefully should not be a problem once it's all tied down...allows for a bit of movement.
Also scored a free Tuff Truck hat and stickers!!! 8) Many thanks to Liam and Big Balls, great service and support.
I'll be posting a full write up with photos of the lift.

G-day Murray , bet ya happy about getting your blocks , Ya have to be vigilant when jacking up your little truck , watch out for your speed'o cable , vacuum lines and fuel pump cos these are all clamped up just to name a few and most importantly the radiator , it has to be lowered . You'll suss it all out , it's an easy mod to do , Once your done , flex your big rig on both sides and check everything , good luck
