front body mount rubbing on tyre

hey everyone, im in the process of doing some more trimming on my zook. I got spoa on stock springs and 32's...... the only thing is that now ive trimmed the body work good enough away from the tyre, but they tyre is just rubbing up against the body mount which sits just behind the back of the wheel arch, i know alot of you have done some monster cutting there, so what did u do about that body mount?

Also i wanted to ask, to me the stock air intake is pretty hidden, so only going over bonnet height in water would get it wet... and what happens with a snorkel when youre flying through big puddles?? is that why u face the ram backwards sometimes?

move your front axle forward 20mm and you should clear it. is easy enough to do just re-drill the perches and spring plates.

Yes, get the snorkel. I had about 2" water in my airbox after todays kwinana outing. :( al good after scooping the water out.

Also on the trimming.. what do people do with the stock fuel filler pipe as i have 31s and it is close to the metal plate that covers here. I screwed the cover on fri night so have taken it off for now.

cheers

yeh i havent done anything about that fuel filler pipe, i seem ok, my tyre rubs against it but its a smooth plate. So why dont u turn your ram backwards when u know ur gonna go through water (spraying)..... and also does normal rain accumulate in the airbox too? could u not drill some holes in the bottom of the airbox and put valves in there to stop water coming up through em when youre in water??? also is the airbox sealed well enough standard? cos its just held on by them clips..

or could u maybe make the top of your snorkel bend down and then up to the ram, (like the pipe under your sink) and have a drain hole at the bottom of that bend??

will i need a tailshaft spacer to move my diff forward? i could just make one up yeh? just a plate with 4 holes in it..... how thick could u make the spacer before it would mess up the way the tailshaft is supposed to spin?
