Evening all,
Im putting a 7mge into my lux and was thinking of rebuildin my G52 while im at it!! Question is that Im told the W56 is a stronger box, is it a bolt in swap for the G52 and will my transfer bolt straight up? or is it cheaper to just rebuild the G52 and keep the rightfoot under control.

also what vehicles are the W56 gearboxes found in.

W will bolt up, but don't know about transfer case. 2.7 porado uses W box. W stronger than G, R stronger than W. Luxes come with R series gearboxes in the diesel modles. Better choice for strength and bolt up ability. Go on Toyo mods web site for more info.

R are different bolt pattern to the W and G arent they?
needs to bolt to a W58 bellhousing.
Will The transfer from a G52 Bolt to a W56?
Will a W56 bolt to G52 gearbox mounts?
