Ok so what do people think about these tyres. We were given a set to run at this weekends Dargo Navrun but we have a few concerns after we put them on the rim and inflated them.

Is this what they call the Creepy Crawler?
I think i posted about these a while ago. They were going to be released in some real good sizes.
What are your concerns Joe?

We put them on the GQ and lowered the pressures down to 0 psi and they hardly even bulged. The rubber is as hard as it took us nearly an hour to get it on the rim using tyre plyers and heaps of soap.

Our concern is with on road handeling, take a look at photo 07 that is at 35 psi, didn't change much when at 25 either. Patern and compound apear to be good, just the tread surface when inflated is a bit of a worry.

So you have them to use, for nothing!
I would run them and flog the bejesus out of them and if they fall apart send em back and tell em what you think!
As for road handling
Have fun!
Maybe drive them around on the streets at low pressure's of say 3 or 4 psi to see if the soften up!
The tread looks fairly good!

Up close the patern is a compromise between the ET and the MTR, would have been good at the OBC on the sand, nice wide foot print. Might try the low pressure trick and see if it has any effect. As they are l think it will be like driving on tram tracks or ice for those non mexicans, all over the place.

they look ok tread wise. does the tread sit flat wen fitted 2 a car ??? and as POS said drive em round a paddock at 0psi 4 a few kilometers and try and soften them up.
how thick is the side wall ??
BTW i like the rim that its mounted 2

The side wall felt about 2 or 3mm thicker than the simex tyres which came of the rim. I think they are super tuff, just the tread shape is a worry.
Thanks, everyone takes a fancy to the rims, they look real shweeet on the GQ.

Those tyres were in my factory for a few days and we had a good look at em, I think the tread and rubber compound is good for rocks but are way to heavy in the walls.
