My Feroza has towed a few vehicles - Toyota Landcruiser FJ55 and Nissan Patrol

once again, the mighty daihatsu's rescues a range rover..

and tow start it, since he tried to drown his engine..

The best part is the look on their face!!!

awesome - one thing though, you shouldnt recover in reverse if you can help it.

Yep, I was going to point that out as well. The reverse gears are straight cut, which are not quite as strong as forward gears. Always try to snatch forwards.

But I have been bogged 3 times and been recovered by tractors
Also been recovered by a Mitsubishi Triton Check my avatar

I've been pulled out in my stocky rocky more times than i like to admit (think i stoped counting after about 16!! and have only had it since feb )... having said that, its has gone evrywhere that my friends 6"lifted GQ Patrol has gone, with few exceptions - just takes longer and i get more panel damage
+ today i went through a boghole that he chickened on (xcuse was didnt wanna get amps wet , had water up to my ankles, and in the deepest part the waterline went half way up my spare , only pics are on phone though ]

Just a minor correction to the "don't recover in reverse" theory... it not the gearbox thats the issue its the high pinion front diff.
This is a well doccumented issue and is inherent in any high pinion design - so its a good idea to avoid it for that reason.
