If I were you I wouldn't be cutting your Suzuki as it appears to be in very good nick. Maybe do some basic mods first then learn o drive it before leaping into full on custom stuff. No point in spending a lot of time and $$$ on mods that you wont be able to appreciate.

Alot of times having a very capable rig and a novice driver is going to get you into dangerous situations and inverably break stuff. Much better to learn what thhe car can and cannot do and then start modding to suit your driving style and the limitations of the car.

get off your high horse there buddy. I was offering a suggestion. You say you've been 4wd for a long time (whatever that means) well in your posts you come across as a 16 year old with no idea about 4wding so my mistake. If you ask for advice and get it but its not what you wanted to hear fine but don't have a go at people for offering help.

Onto what you are doing, good start. Loks like a nice clean beginning hope it all works out. But I really suggest having a good read through some of the buildups like redzooks and sierrajims and get a good understanding of what you want and why before cutting too much off. Remember measure twice cut once. It is very hard to go back if you do something wrong

No worries, Hey chris_fox, how is it going on the tray ect. did that panel have folds top and bottom?? my panel was 3mm folded top and bottom, it is super strong. Keep the pics coming.

the resun that it sits so high is because the spare tyre go's under the tray its made to fit 31x10.5x15

Just make sure you leave enough gap between the tray and the cab to allow for movement of the cab bushes.
