Hi Guys,

I am purchasing my first 4x4 a 91 DC lux 2.8

But it has some SR5 wheels on it at the moment.

Can anyone let me know what the standard rim size is for this model

Cheers

have a look near the bottom of the b pillar of the drivers door. there should be a sticker with all the tyre/rims specs from factory

Yeah i got the 16x5.5 split rims in Chrome :D

Are you sure they are SR5 as i thought the SR5 was a IFS front and these style of rim wont fit a standard leaf spung Lux

Thanks guys,

I still am to have a look near the b pillar for the factory specs, but currently the wheels which are on it are the 16x5.5 chromies.

Which I have found out are fine for insurance.

Now for the next question, What would be the biggest tyres I would be able to fit onto these rims, currently they are 205/16 which are a little small.

Cheers

I`ve got 225/16`s on mine SAVERO A/T (a cheap tyre )pretty good for Hwy,but not as good at the duellers i had on my old cruiser.

I was told the 225 was the biggest i could go with out getting new rims.I will be getting bigger rims later, due to the fact that for some reason my tyres keep rubbing the tubes and getting flats :bad-words: ,the seem to rub around the finned area of the tube, which leaves them like a sive and need replacing.Works out to be around every 3-4 months i do 1 :x .

just get some 15x8" rims and you'll be fine to run 33x12.5"
