gu stereo removal, URGENT!!!!

hey all, im putting my new tv/dvd in the gu this arvo and need to know how the stereo/dash surround comes out, is it clipped in or screwed in from behind it some where???? its a 2000 gu coil cab with factory cassette
its the bit that covers the centre of the dash and has the sub tank switch and surrounds the air con/heater controls
im starting when i knock off work at 12.30 so any help i can get before then would be ace

Console surround just clips in - no screws. It is pretty tight, but just need a bit if levering.
Easiest place to lever off is the inside of the airc-con controls with a small flat blade screwdriver. Just take it easy so ytou don't split the plastic. Lever from the bottom first and the others will pop out.

Yep, 2 flat hole along the bottom edge. Level with flat blade screw driver.

Cheers guys, im also putting my boost gauge in this panel just below the sub fuel button on the r/h side, it was a good help before i went braking things, i gotta big day today, work then wire in uhf, tv/dvd, turbo timer and boost gauge, ive got pretty much all the interior out that needs to come out and am about to rip out the old stereo, just having a ciggie brake and put up a update
better get back to it

hey all got it in, its f*&%$g great, thanks for the help on the removal, will try and take some photos later on and get them up, although i now have a prob with the sub tank light staying on, also put a boost gauge , uhf and turbo timer in, very happy with it all

that would be due to your turbo timer only the ARB one is compatible

A boggart [ not sure of the spelling ] is a plug in unit easy to do , plugs into the loom ..

cost under $200 I think, get arb to send you there catalogue
