New Guy Introduction

Post by Zam »

Hi Guys,

Been looking at this board for a while and posted a couple of things.

But on the weekend I picked up my new and first 4x4, so I thought it is time for an intro.

Previously I have owned commodores, lowered, extractors, etc etc, but for a while been wanting to off roading and camping fishing and stuff so it is time to purchase the 4x4.

Its a 1991 DC Hilux with the 2.8 diesel, excellent condition for a 14 year old 4 wheeler. Its got ARB Bull bar rear steps, Brahma canopy, side steps and (i think) SR5 chrome rims. so it doesnt look too bad

On the wish list are:
- Bigger tyres or may wheels as well
- better sounds sytem
- extrators (maybe, depending on performance difference)
- thinking about removing the canopy and getting sports bars
- spotties

So, I may be asking a few questions around the place, I will try and use the search as much as possible as I know most of the stuff has probably been asked before.

Cheers
