New to Disco II - Question on TC & ABS

Hi Rover Owners,
I am a recent owner of a 2001 LandRover Disco II and I'm lovin' it. I normally drive a GU Patrol, which I still own, but the Patrol is being set up as a comp vehicle, so the Disco was purchased for club trips and to visit our favourite spots in the high country. The Disco has ACE, SLS 7 seater, HDC, traction control and V8 auto power. It's now sporting a 40mm lift, CDL and 265/75/16 BFG AT tyres. I drove the Disco in it's baptism of fire in Jamieson last weekend and it performed well. It was a bit of a challenge with all terrain tyres on wet tracks, but I drove all the tracks that the Patrols drove, apart from 1 track, but that's only because of the tyres rather than the vehicle.
I have one question for this forum though. In low range, with CDL engaged, and after 3 to 4 hours of driving, the traction control and ABS light remained illuminated. We had a break for lunch and the lights went off, then after a short stint all lights were on again. The HDC still worked even though the ABS light was on. After I aired up, then dis-engaged Lo range and turned off CDL, the traction control light and ABS lights were back to normal. Do the traction control and ABS eventually over heat? If so, is there a cure or prevention? I bought the Disco with only 30,000km, so I doubt the brake fluid had been changed. Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers
Alberto.
