Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Heya Fella's.

I have a LN 65 1986 x-cab. I was thinking of doing a converion on the doors to utilize Surf doors eliminating the quater windows and having power windows! Has anyone done this? Is it a simple swap?

Also does a LN106 power steering box bolt to a LN65 chassis? If not what have people done to get there 65's steering easier?

Yes the doors are a direct bolt up. not sure on the wiring though.

And the steering is also a direct bolt up. But you will need a Power steer pump and bracket from a Y series engine if thats what you are still running.

I am running a Lexus V8, so ill plumb my power steering pump to the box.

Will be investigating at wreckers soon on prices.

Cant imagine a steering box being more than $400. Hopefully.
No idea about doors tho. Is there a LN65 Surf? What should i ask for, or are they the same for different year models?
