Driveshaft help please

Got my new front driveshaft today and when i dummy fitted it to see how much it needs to be shortened the double cardin joint is very close to my transmission. Just wondering if anyone can see a problem with running the driveshaft upside down so that the cardin joint is at the diff end.
Just thought I would find out as I cant decide whether to leave the cardin joint on the shaft or remove it and sell it. The shaft will be about 800mm long and rear shaft is shorter and dont have any probs without cardin joint.

Wont work. For this setup the the output shaft of the transfer case will need to be inline with the drive shaft, which means you will need to tilt your front diff on some crazy angle.
I dont think you would need one on the front if you dont have one on the back. Just line up the angle of the transfer output to the pinion shaft on the diff. The driveshaft may be reaching the limit of it's operating angle and shudder a bit, but you will only really notice this at high speed.
What car is it on? Will you be doing high speed work in 4x4?

Ok, I had a shorty with 7' springs and 2' body lift , Didnt need a double cardin joint in the front a standard one does the job, However you do need to run 1 in the rear.

It is on a MQ swb. It is only lifted maybe 2" plus 2" bodylift and Im not planning on lifting it anymore than that. It doesnt get used at high speed in 4wd.
Might have to look at getting another end for the shaft and get rid of the cardin joint.

if u can find a shaft without a double cardon that u can modify to length..... the double cardon is not needed.

just get rid of it and get a non double cardon and get it to length. will work a treat.

i have plenty here if ya want one to give me the colapesed measurement minimum u want ill have something, send me a pm if ur interested.
