My bearing in the altinator shat them selves again and I refused to go and buy another sencond hand altinator. So I pulled mine apart and replaced both the bearings, put it all back together and its as good as new.

So I'm posting this post to post the Part Numbers of the two bearings.

Big Bearing - 6202/1B2RDDCS11BEARING,SPECIAL,KOYO - $15.03

Small Bearing - DG175216B2RDDCMBEARING, SPECIAL, KOYO - $30.40

These part numbers and prices are from the Consolodated Bearing Company is South Australia.

I hope this helps in some way.

Was it hard to do?
Does doing this make your alternator charge better?
Was it in a rocky or roza? Year model?
Only askin cause i want a duel bat system eventually, and my alternator isnt THAT good, still ok but if I go the duel batt and this thing makes it charge better, i'll do that 1st. (dont want the alternator crapping out on me cause i overload it or sumthing)

I have a 1993 Feroza. I only replaced the bearings because they were noisy due to muddy water getting into them. The alternator charged properly before i touched it so I didn't replace the brushed.

Its pretty simple and strait forwards but I don't know how handy you are when it comes to automotive. Its is a simple job. All you really need is a hammer, a drift, a punch, a vice, phillips head screwdriver, assorted sockets and rachet. A rattle gun would be bonus to get the pulley nut off.
