Just wanting to know if anyone has had problems with these shockes I have had 5 stuff up in just over 12 months leeking oil from around the shaft all the same .They wont just swap them over I have to take them off send them back as I use my truck every day it makes it hard .So the place I got them through has to buy them and then send it back for a refund and they have to pay post aswell .I think Tough dog should pay, just what I think .Just letting you all know .I have called them but didnt get any where .And ARB compresser's arnt under warranty if they get wet go figure...
This is my ranting for the day...Thanks

yeah I had a bent bottem pin on one of my front tough dogs . They are 12 months old . I took it back to the shop and they sent it off and tough dog fixed it under warranty, But then I was told I had to pay the frieght of 30 bucks :bad-words: .They had my shock so i had to pay to get it back :bad-words: . Great shock ,but i think that was a bit rough......

read the fine print. i don't know of a warranty where the manurfacture or retailer needs to pay freight most say the end user is the one that has to pay. but most retailers will pay out of good faith.

4-ways customer service is pretty good, so if you get grief from a reseller, ring them direct and they will look after you. I have the big bores on my 5" 80 series, it has been driven fairly hard but not for a lot of km yet. the only problem I have had so far is that they keep collapsing the retaining washers on the front shocks - first the 4-way ones, and now it has killed a set of stocker ones.

How much oil is leaking- is it dripping off the shock? I know Koni say in their instructions the outside being "wet" is considered normal- it isn't considered "broken" until you've actually got oil dripping off the shock.

We have a set on our comp truck range rover it has done two outback challenges 8 rounds of the exreme and one NZ Challenge and had no problems their must be something a miss if they keep leaking good luck with it
