Hi All,

I'm after some advice on which battery to get for my new car setup.

Basically the requirements are as follows:
1. As light weight as possible
2. Be able to run a winch (so that requires at least 600CCA i believe)
3. Must be spill proof (dry) / corrosion proof - mounting it inside the passenger area and expect it to spend a fair bit of time on its side or upside down.

So with this criteria I'm told that i should be after an Optima battery, of which i think there are 3 colours (does that mean only 3 types?).

Please let me know which is battery i should be after.

Thanks,
Greg

I am using 2 Yuasa 80amp wet cell marine batteries - They cost about $70 each and they last 18 mths running the winch, cranking the Jeep on the starter sometimes and now a ton of spotties, radio and GPS

When I rolled they didn't leak
