Hi every body,
I own a 2.5 TDI Pajero, no super select, automatic cubes that never failed, It's worth to get manual ones like AVM's?
Thanks and regards.
Hi Tom, thats a strange combination you have there.
Usually with no super select you would have a part time system with manually locking hubs or does yours have the easy select system like the Challenger with the free wheeling front diff ??
Anyway to answer your question I fitted AVM hubs to mine and I don't like them at all I had problems with the springs binding up and not unlocking, they are also plastic and easily broken.
Better to fit a set of Aisin manual hubs that were on base model Pajero's they are by far the strongest and most reliable. Check around your local wreckers for a second hand set.
Hi Bitsamissin, maybe I have the easy select like Challenger, they also have the same motor in Spain. When I take off the 4x4, I have to go back one meter more or less to let the front wheels free.
Thanks and regards.
