Ok, I have finally set this up, I used the MAG double air solanoid Part number is 45A-GCI-DDBA-13A available from any pnuematic place, I got mine from pnuematic products in seven hills.

all you need to do is hook up the vac line from the engine to the exaust outlet on the solanoind then the two line to the locker to ports A and B. to wire up the solanoid you can use a two way switch, but I used an ARB switch to make avery thing look the same and wired it through a two way relay so in the off position the disengage line is open and in the on positon it switches over to the engage position.

the locker engages as quick as an ARB air unit and am veryu happy with the results.

I didnt have any wiring etc in as it was a replacment diff when I bent the las housing and replaced it with a factory locker so had to run all the wiring and vac lines from scratch.

for the vac line i used 1/8 ID vac line from the local auto part people.

thanks to jeremy bubbles for the help with this

yay...

great stuff TINY... Pleased I could be of some help...

In my opinion as I had drums originally these factory locker housings are the business. And if treated well should last for dang nearly forever...Disc brakes and a selectable locker at the same time for under the cost of an ARB supplied and fitted. Winner !!

Also fab up a decent filter for the exhaust port to. To stop sucking of unwanted stuff.. There were pictures of one on here some time ago..

Cheers,

JEremy

I have the solanoid installed inside the cab to avoid this, but may make one up anyway

Yeah, great job!!

What is the cost of this think? And what should I ask for in the pneumatic shop?!? What brand is it? Could you ask your shop for an equivalent part nr in the Mogulli brand, as I can get acces to this brand up here?

Many thanks, Gabi
